12/1/2023 0 Comments Freedom planet 2 trunks and mai![]() Who is "you guys"? That's an average user. Want to know what's crazy think most understand this, but you guys are in automatic defense mode each time. ![]() Have a nice day everyone and thank you to the devs for making a great game and still posting here, even though you pretty much have to repeat the same answer daily. I have news for you: This is not an insult and you have no such right. You guys make the impression, that Galaxy Trail not releasing the game when you want them to is a personal insult to you and robs you of your right to get everything you want exactly when you want it. The devs have said so numerous times, so take a hint already.Ģ. The game is done when it's done and that is when we will get a release date. Regarding the sequels contributed to by Toriyama (GT, Super, DBO), Dragon Ball indeed has multiple canons, and the claims that there is only one is mainly a subjective declaration now.Originally posted by Wasdukannst:I honestly don't understand why we apparently need a new thread on this every two weeks.ġ. To refer to the biblical canon, there was (and still is) more than one canon of the Bible, one for each sect. Frankly, that is not an inherently bad thing. What someone considers "canon" from that point would be more based in personal preference than what was from before that point. The problem isn't the "rules" of Dragon Ball canon, the problem is that there are multiple sequels that Toriyama has been involved in produced after the end of the original story's run. If there is no confirmation, then those works would not be considered canon. Hypothetically speaking, if Toriyama confirmed that someone would continue the story of Dragon Ball (even without his help), the new author's work would be considered canon. They would be more akin to "what ifs", but made by those who were allowed. "Branches" goes against the concept of canon, as those "branches" would take place in an alternate universe separate from the "main body". The consensus is that the Dragon Ball manga is the most authentic work as it was directly penned by Toriyama, so all the events in the manga and the matching events in the anime would be considered "canon" as well.Īny event in any of the animated work or video games that did not occur in the manga that was not written with the help from Toriyama or contradicts the events of the original manga would be non-canon. Again, still an obvious crime and sin, but at this point it's not like anyone cares.Ī "main body" of work is the most authentic and significant line of work within the franchise. ![]() So anyway even if they created a new timeline and Time Ring, the number would have stayed the same due to the utter erasure of the Future timeline. Meaning that the entire timeline was gone from the time-space continuum, literally: It's shown that, after Zeno erased the Future timeline, the Time Ring associated with it disappeared. One of the main reasons why Zamasu devised Project Zero Mortals was precisely because the ningens shattered the space-time continuum by constantly travelling through time, but the story didn't bother to expand this plot point anyway after the arc ended.Īlso, if we want to get technical, then the number of alternate timelines remained identical. ![]() Beerus also created a new timeline when he erased Present Zamasu, he created the timeline where Present Zamasu was never stopped and became Goku Black.Ĭreating an additional timeline really makes no difference at this point, it's still a terrible sin against the Gods, but it's not like anyone cares anyway, plus it's not like the time-space continuum hasn't been ruined beyond repair already. courtesy of Trunks and Cell, who travelled between time-space like 20 times, creating 4 (or even more?) alternate timelines. The time-space continuum was already fucked up anyway. ![]()
